Subject: TMG-L: Problems with "eighter-or"-dates
Date: Wed, 1 Dec 1999 21:30:32 +0100
Hello
I've got a problem with dates including "eighter - or". I record a man's death as "1760 or 1761", this is "translated" to "eighter 1760 or 1761". Well, fair enough. Then I go to the man's personview to have a look. This man, born abt. 1669, died at age 0! If I record him as dead 1760 or dead 1761, everything works all right. The problem is the "or"-date. My date format is DD.MM.YYYY. If I enter the date as "01.01.1760 or 01.01.1761", and hits F10, everything (TMG) quits! To make this all right again, I had to press "S" in the startup to open the dataset.
Help me! What can I do to make the "or"-date all right??
Yours
