There are a numbr a ways to do this depending on your preferences and how
sensitive the information is to various persons. Assuming there is no
sensitivity, it might be done like this. Add the children to your great
aunt and an unknown father (you can enter a name initially and then change
his Primary name to all blanks if desired). This places their names as
Mother and Father for the children. Then add for each child, Mother-Ado
and Father-Ado tags to reflect your great aunt's sister and brother-in-law.
These will be non-Primary tags. IF you wish, you may make the adoptive
relationship tags as Primary and they would then show in each child's
Mother and Father field. Whether or not you make the adoptive parents as
Primary depends on what you want to show in various reports. Try printing
some reports both ways and see how they appear.
Also for each child, add an Adoption tag with the child as Principal 1 and
the adoptive parents as Witnesses. I would change the Tag and Witness
Sentences to something like:
{Tag}: [P] was adopted <[D]> <[L]> <by [WO]>
{Witness}: [W] adopted [P] <[D]> <[L]>
Hope this helps -
