Yes, you are right. I like the finished result in VCF but manual editing
is a pain. The biggest problem I have is with the connecting lines. I like
to do my descendants charts "top to bottom", and if you pull all the boxes
closer together you end up with the vertical lines for those boxes with
dog-legs in them. That is quite quick to correct, but then the end one
leaves the horizontal line sticking out. Easy to pull that back in - BUT
then the dog-legs have re-appeared! I have to say that the basic editing
of boxed charts in the old Reunion program, and I guess in the new
Generations Grand Suite is much much easier. As you say, we are using
version one of a program that looks to have great possibilities and I
eagerly look forward to version 2 - when it appears.
