In FTM 7 you can save the data set as FTM 6. With your data set open in FTM
go to the File pull down menu: File -> Copy/Export Family File -> Save as
type: Family Tree Maker 6.0 for WIN.
Now when you import the file into TMG be sure to look at the [Import
Options] as part of the TMG import process. You may want to try a second or
third import with different options to get the most efficient import.
