I'm in the process of importing a huge file too, 19,000 names, 1300
sources. My first attempt took 3/4 hr on a pentium 366, but now that
I've editted the assorted problems in the Gedcom file to items that are
recognised, and fixed the places so that they parse ok etc, it seems to
run in 20 mins! Mind
you I've not yet figured out how to get all of my Source data across
satisfactorily, see previous posting re Pedigree to TMG

My first attempts I did via a test file, with only one married couple in
it and something in every field so I could clearly see what fields
did/did not come across and where too.

Attempting to do the reverse from TMG hasn't yet solved my problem on
how to successfully import the sources. How do you get the TYPE's
correct?

Regards,

Lorna
