Thank you George (and Lee, Lorna and others who
sent advice). I am now working with the FTW6.0 to
TMG 4.0 (that is I transformed a FTW 7. file to
FTM 6 and loaded it into TMG with the new patch
you suggested I would find on the Whollygenes
webpage. I'll compare this with the
FTM7-to-GEDCOM5.5-toTMG4.0 route and let you know
if it is indeed a superior way to go.
