I would check the Custom Tags in both datasets and see what the differences
are. It is likely that a Custom Tag on dataset A is assigned to a
different Tag Group than the Custom Tag by the same name in dataset B. If
this is the case, just change the Tag Label of one of the Tags.
Do this in the Tag Type list. Select the Person View, and click on the
plus (+) icon in the left. When the Tag Type List appears, click on the
<<< More button to display the Expanded Tag Type List. Using this, you may
step through the list (use the down arrow key of your keyboard and quickly
see whether the Tag is Standard or Custom. For the Custom Tags, note their
name (highlighted in the left colum) and the Tag Group to which they are
assigned. After you have reviewed and noted all the Custom Tags in one
dataset. Close that screen and switch to the other dataset and do the same
thing.
When you find a Custom Tag in this dataset, check if your notes show the
same Tag in the same Tag Group for the first dataset. If so, decide which
one is to be changed and change the name of that Tag to something else.
After the Tag is highlighted in the Tag Type (or Expanded Tag Type List (in
the desired dataset), click on the Edit button. Change the Label field as
desired and click on the OK button.
If the similar Custom Tags have the same Tag Groups in both dataset,
compare the other aspects of the similar Tags and change one to the same as
the other.

Probably not, although that is possible.
Hope this helps -
