Nearly all is done with my word processor, the scanner and its software, and
aa little TMG-VCF stuff. When I scan in material, it goes to file as .TIF.

One VCF option allows you to send a chart to file as an image. When that
goes smoothly, you can then work with that image as if it were a photo--drag
it, size it, whatever. Only .jpg and .bmp are available from VCF. Sometimes
VCF balks and refuses to send the file to disk (an already-reported quirk).
This means you could produce a letter-size page in VCF, send it to disk
(.bmp),
and shrink it to half a page for the booklet in your word processor. In some
cases, it is still easily readable.

In one booklet, where VCF printed the centerfold (full-page) box chart, I
had
lots of fun aligning boxes to clear the crease and staples. The VCF
flexibility
was most useful.

Mostly, the style is light and informal.
