Subject: TMG-L: Preparing a TMG Data Base for a Word Processor

I'm having some pretty good success at preparing my data base for "publishing"
to MSWord. A lot of changes have to do with word selection to avoid monotony.
I've found one can only do so much with changing variables in the tag sentences,
thus I have changed quite a few sentences by editing them outright or by adding
split memos to them. I realize that edits to the sentences won't transfer
through GEDCOM. I've also had to change a lot of simple words like "in" to "on."
One task I would like to accomplish without having to resort to memos or editing
the Word file is to be able to segue from one tag to another. To do this I need
to eliminate the automatic period and throw in a conjunction and perhaps a
comma. For example the two tags emigrated and immigrated read, "He emigrated
from the Isle of Skye, Scotland in 1830. He landed at Leitch's Creek, Nova
Scotia in 1830." I would like to state, "He emigrated from the Isle of Skye,
Scotland in 1830 and landed at Leitch's Creek, Nova Scotia." Is there a way to
do this?
