Bud,
Why don't you combine these events to one tag? It could be called Migration.

the Word file is to be able to segue from one tag to another. To do this I
need
to eliminate the automatic period and throw in a conjunction and perhaps a
comma. For example the two tags emigrated and immigrated read, "He emigrated
from the Isle of Skye, Scotland in 1830. He landed at Leitch's Creek, Nova
Scotia in 1830." I would like to state, "He emigrated from the Isle of Skye,
Scotland in 1830 and landed at Leitch's Creek, Nova Scotia." Is there a way
to
do this?
