I have not done this before but I just tried it. Here are the steps
I took.
1. I added an image (external) to the exihibit log on my person view.
2. I created an Individual Detail Report.
3. On the General Tab of the Report definition screen I went to
Publication Tools and selected embedded and then I checked all the
things under it cuz I didn't know any better. :-)
4. I saved the report to file -- MS Word. When I did this, a screen
popped up telling me what I had to do when I opened the report in Word.
a. Open file
b. Click on Edit
c. Click on Links
d. select all by holding the shift key down and clicking on
the last
e. click update

I only had one exhibit but once I did the above, the pic popped right up.
If you have done all the above and you are using Word -- the only
other thing I can think of checking is in Word -- Tools>Options>View
-- make sure Drawings is checked.
