Here I can say that in case of foreign languages UFT is stronger! In UFT we
have more control about the events, roles and sources. UFT has standard 3
languages supported (English, French and German) all the events and roles
are provided in those three languages. So if you choose french then your
report will be in French without having to edit the role sentences. If I am
correct (regarding your solution for the roles in TMG) then if you decide to
have Dutch sentences you cannot have reports with role sentences in English
or French any longer. In UFT I translated the German part of the events,
roles, strings, relations and sources into Dutch (they are all in DBF files
which we can edit). So we could (and can if we still use UFT) switch from
English to French and Dutch reports.
I hope the 4.0a version will have more possibilities in managing the roles
as Bob promised us. For us foreigners it is an issue of great importance.
Kind regards
Harry
