Now you have to uncheck each duplicate tag in the merge from window or
delete the duplicate tagss from the remaining person after merge. If
you have sources in the from window you want to retain you have to do it
after the merge.

What I meant was that you have a & b side by side and you say merge,
duplicate tags would be combined and sources added together.
