Barbara,

I believe what you are asking for is for TMG to create the footnotes from
your source citations which is exactly what the "build footnotes" command in
UFT does and what you said you _didn't_ want from UFT.

I'm not sure you can have it both ways. Either TMG would have to leave your
footnotes as created in UFT including the source citations that aren't up to
date and your entered text or it would have to build footnotes from source
citations in which case it would have to eliminate your old footnotes.
I'm sure someone will correct me it I'm wrong :-)
