I have a Mary Doe who, either married or unmarried, had a child; we shall
call him William. Some time later she married John Smith and William became
William Smith, step son of John Smith. If I run a descendant report for John
Smith, William does not appear. This makes sense if one is sticking closely
to "blood" lines for descendants, of course. However, I have no idea who was
the father of William and for all I know it may have been John Smith. How do
I show William as a descendant of John Smith with the appropriate notation
that he was a step son-Dale
