While I have not tried this, I don't think TMG would work from a CD. TMG
uses a large number of files that are continually being updated in the TMGW
directory (or whatever directory in which it is installed). Since the CDR
would only be readable (once it is written), the work files would not be
usable.

The only suggestion that I have would be to copy your current installation
to the CDR, go to the other person's computer and copy it "back" (you will
probably have to change some read-only attributes), and run it there. Then
when you are finished, delete it from the other person's computer. In some
cases, this won't work as the other paerson's computer may not have the
resources to allow this.

A better solution would be to purchase (or rent) a laptop to carry with
you. While the laptop would weigh more than the CDR, it would only be ten
pounds or less. an extra hassle maybe, but much more feasible.
