Subject: [TMG] Travel Advice
I have a need to travel very light soon and wish to take probably on a CDR
that I can burn on my CD writer, a copy of all my genealogy research. I will
have no need on the trip to edit data, but various people I meet I may wish
to sit down and view many charts and data on their PC's. At worst possibly
the occassional report printout.
I do not wish to load software even temporarily on other peoples machines.I
dont consider printing out all the reports to view on the CD as convenient
as having an operating program.
Can anyone advise how I can copy my TMG program and data to a CDR and allow
it to run. I tested the theory by copying my complete TMGW directory /
program by drag and drop to another hard drive, clicking the exe file seems
to attempt a start but the program recognises the move and offers advice not
relevant to my need.
