Subject: RE: [TMG] Enhancement Request--P2 surety when adding spouse

I would either want TMG to enter no surety value for either P1 or P2, or
the same. I don't always assign the same surety to both spouses because I'm
not always certain I'm connecting the correct James Anderson or Betty
Leslie, but having to go in and finish or change a half-done marriage
surety is annoying.

often in life it is the minor matters that irritate most. Particularly in
this case where it really is difficult to understand the reasoning why only
one surety value is set automatically.
It certainly must be a strange case where the surety would be different for
the two participants in a marriage. I believe the majority (95%?, 99%?) of
the cases where I enter a marriage and I enter both persons, this is based
on a single document (i.e., the same citation would apply for both), and
certainly the surety level of this would be the same for both spouses. And
which of the spouses you start with is just chance, isn't it?
