I don't know if this will help you or not, but I keep PAF 4 on my system
because I like some of the things it does (it was my first program). I
have imported GEDCOMS from PAF to TMG and it has gone pretty well. Maybe
you could download the GEDCOM from LDS website into PAF and then create
a 'new' GEDCOM from PAF and import that into your TMG. PAF is a free
download from LDS so it won't cost you anything but hard drive space and
a bit of time.
