Subject: Wish list and Re: [TMG] crashes on opening

Thanks to all for the tips and comments. I haven't figured this out yet.
I have tried closing netscape before opening TMG and that hasn't worked.
I really hate to have to close my DSL connection everytime I want to
open TMG so I'm hoping for a different solution. Is there anyone who
uses Start > Programs > TMG instead of the desktop shortcut? Do the
crashes occur under that process as well?

While I'm at it I have a Wish for a future rendition of TMG <gr>: In
PAF, there are drop-down windows you can use for entering data. This is
so incredibly nice, especially when entering locations. I have a ton of
places that have VERY long names such as Minneapolis, Hennepin county,
Minnesota or Grafinghagen, Bielefeld, Westphalia, Prussia (wish my
ancestors all lived somplace like Ohio). Typing in those long place
names over and over again is a pain. PAF remembers the last 25 or so
places that I've entered and lets me select them from these drop-down
lists.

Another feature I would really like to see is the ability to use the
right click mouse button, especially for cut/copy/paste.

Last, in PAF there is the "notes" button in the individual window and I
can keep all my memos and notes for any event there so I can read it or
search it quickly. I liked not having to create a report just to check
what I have on a specific individual.
