: It is easy to get the first three, but the fourth is normally located
: either in the Source record or in the Citation Detail associated with the
: tag and Source. Basically, TMG isn't designed with this in mind, so you
: would have to resort to entering the census entry details in some field
: where it is not normally placed and that may mean entering the information
: twice. In my Census tags, I do not (normally) enter anything in the Memo
: field and that would be a reasonable place to place it that would allow
you
: easy access for printing a List of Events report. If you develop a sort
of
: short-hand entry of the census entry detail information, you could have
the
: data print almost in columnar form without a lost of extra key entry. You
: might also consider use of the Text Macro function (see TMG manual, p.
328)
: where you could enter a default tamplate for the detail data. Thus when
: entering the Memo field you would use the macro template to help keep the
: data in columnar form.

This is an example of how I normally use the Memo field in a "Cens 1850"
tag:
"in the home of Gain Peed [farmer] age 63 are Nancy K.? Peed age 54, Bryan
age 20, Harmon age 17, Phebe Jewell age 40, John B. F. Peed [laborer] age
23, Susan Peed age 20, Sydney D. Jewell age 15 {page 426b, Dwelling 1486,
Family 1496}"

With version 4.0a, I am planning to use the witness feature to link everyone
listed in the memo.

In looking at the manual, I noticed the "Lat.Long" field can also be used
for LDS temple data. This field could be used for my census information, if
I enter it this way:
P426B,D1486,F1496
never having used "Lat.Long", my concern is that I will end up with a
different "page, dwelling, family" for each entry - does this matter?

I must be using a different method of Census entry - maybe there is a better
way. For the 1850 Beaufort Co Census, I have over 60 dwelling/family groups
and there are more I have not entered. Is my method less or more time
consuming than the other methods people are using?
