The short answer is "Yes" and without much trouble. Or at least you
can do a linear ahnentafel in that way via the report wizard. How
close that particular report is to the way you want it done and what
kind of massaging you would need to do is another question. I have not
done it yet and so cannot tell you that it will meet your needs.

The other thing that can be done is a reverse register. I can see
spinning off a dataset of the direct ancestry to eliminate all that
you did not wish to be in the report and then doing a normal reverse
register report.
