A GEDCOM file will be single-spaced and will NOT have line numbers. What
you are looking at is the error listing and any line numbers are only to
help you determine the problem. You might post the first dozen or so lines
of the GEDCOM file (not of the error list) in a message here and see if we
can see the problem.
