Peggy,
I don't know anything about UFT, but after you can enter F2 to get to
the picklist you can enter F2 again and the program will allow you to
enter selection criteria without refreshing after each and every
character entry. When you have entered sufficient selection criteria
just hit the enter key and the picklist will refresh and move to your
selection.
I find the refresh after every character annoying and therefore ofter
hit F2 twice to initiate the picklist selection process.
