Robby,
I will use my own pictures as an example. My experience is with UFT so
pardon the terminology. The key(s) to all pictures that have been prepared
for my genealogy files starts with the persons ID number:
Charles Jerry Fillebrown #1510
Individual Record picture is 1510cjf
Birth Event picture is 1510cjfB
Burial Event (tombstone) picture 1510cjfT
a Family picture 1510cjfF
Individual & Spouse 1510cjfS
as a child 1510cjfC
I keep a log of all codes that I develop so I will be consistent as I add
others. Keep the 1510cjf consistent for each individual and be creative with
the rest. This way they will even sort as a group in Windows Explorer.
If you have to keep to the old DOS 8 character standard it can be tricky. I
don't know if TMG allows long file names but that will help if you have
multiple pictures of a particular type. i.e. a second child picture for an
individual would become:
1510cjfC2
Works for me. :-) :-)
