I'm not sure why it worked for some but not for others. I just doubled
checked all of my birth2 and they all have the child role assigned and use
the sentence 'Conflicting evidence' which is also the default sentence for
child in the tag template. Also, where I had year only in the date it
imported correctly. I basically used the defaults for import, birth2 was
assigned to the birth group, I imported the event/role sentences from UFT,
etc.
