Lee,
I found the 849kb i.fpt file in the correct dataset, and may have
concluded incorrectly that if I copied the dataset, the offending
i.fpt file would be copied as well. The backups were inflated and
taking more than one floppy - all because of an exhibit that carried
no benefit since it couldn't be used in a report. I still don't know
what causes this "image not available" problem with both internal and
external exhibits. When I attempted to delete the i.fpt file, the
action damaged files in every dataset, and the damage was only fixed
by running repair.exe twice. I ran it twice just to be sure all files
were ok and received a second error report. The third time I ran
repair.exe all files were reported to be fine.
