Well, if you *really* don't want to edit those several thousand one-by-one,
you could write to your correspondent, explain your dilemma, and ask
him/her to either:
1) Re-export the file in .ged format, only with the NPFX/NSFX structure for
the surnames
2) send you the native file, and try and export it yourself. Hazadata has
a website at http://www.hazadata.com/, although it helps if you speak
Dutch... (or have a (patient) correspondent who does). Apparently, the
DOS version of the software is now freeware.
