Hi Lillian,

As someone has already said, I've never found one program that does all I
want to do. For photo-editing, I use Paint Shop Pro. It has almost all the
power of Photo Shop, at about 1/5th the price. For organizing and
archiving, I use Armadillo Photo. It's a French program, but is fully
bi-lingual. It has the most latitude I've found yet for categorizing,
documenting and browsing photos. In case you're interested, here's a link
to their homepage: http://www.armadillo.fr/products.html . I have no
affiliation with this company whatsoever, just like the product.

Happy New Year to all the TMG family!

This year I hope to scan and store on CDs my too-many-to-count family
pictures. I would love to know what program others have used to organize
their photographs. I'd like to be able to find a photograph easily to use
as
an external TMG exhibit, but would like to know how others have organized
their pictures and what software they use before I begin this mammoth task
of
the New Year.
