You have to merge the databases -- that's File > Merge.
Read the Help on Merge Two Data Sets before you begin. It's also in the
version 4.x manual on page 129.
Then if you have duplicate people, you'll have to merge them. That process
is also described in the Help and in the manual, pages 226-227.
