I actually have to beg to differ here. I own several original NARA films (I
am the first owner) and several Heritage Quest CDs, and I think the quality
is equally good. Sure it is a copy, but it is a very good one, at least the
ones I have seen so far. AND much better quality than the NARA films the
library owns that have been used for several years. NO matter how long I use
the CD, I will not be scratching the image each time I view it like the
microfilm.
