The monthly meeting of the Roots Users Group of Arlington, Virginia will be
held Saturday, February 10, 2001.

The 9:00 AM tutorial session topic is "The Master Genealogist Basics:
Working With The Master Source List" by Judy Bramlage, It will be followed
by an open question and answer session and a brief overview of the GENTECH
Conference. The main presentation at 10:30 AM will be "A Master Genealogist
Product Demonstration" by Bob Velke. We are pleased to have Bob join us for
this workshop. The meeting will end at noon.

The meeting will be held in the Washington Gas Company Auditorium, 6801
Industrial Rd., Springfield, VA.

The program of the ROOTS Users Group of Arlington (RUG) is for you if you
are using, or plan to use, The Master Genealogist, Ultimate Family Tree or
any of its predecessors (ROOTS III, IV, V, Visual Roots, or Family
Gathering) as your computer program to record your genealogical research.

RUG holds its monthly meeting/workshop on the second Saturday of each month.
Experienced users are there to respond during the workshop /Q&A period.
Workshops and meetings are open to the public and admission is free.

Membership in the RUG is open to anyone interested in genealogical
computing. Annual dues are $15 per person/couple, and include a
subscription to the monthly RUG newsletter. Anyone wishing to join the
ROOTS Users Group of Arlington, VA, should send a check (made payable to
RUG) to P. O. Box 82, Arlington, VA 22210-0082, together with your name,
address, telephone number, and e-mail address. The next meeting will be
held March 10, 2001, at the Washington Gas Company Auditorium, 6801
Industrial Rd., Springfield, VA.
