I believe, if you check the archives you'll find a lengthy response from Bob
on this subject. It went through all of the permatations showing how it was
really impossible to show a meaningful preview until one took into account
all of the constraints of the particular report (not only type but option
selections) being generated. Sorry I don't remember for sure but I believe
it was before the list was moved to Rootweb.
