Using the arrowhead icons on each side of the binoculars icon in the
toolbar allows you to 'step' through the Picklist to the next or prior
_Primary_ name without having to open the Picklist. The names that are
skipped are non-Primary names.
Suppose you are working with John Smith who is followed on the Picklist by
his wife, Mary, and she is followed by John's father, Sam. If you click on
the right arrowhead icon, TMG will change focus to Sam and not Mary. Now
if the 'step' was to Mary, the next step would not be Sam, but someone else
-- possibly one of Mary's parents, siblings, or in-laws. But stepping
through the list following only the Primary names allows you to control
where you want to go next. The arrowhead icons only allow you to go to the
next Primary person, but if you want to go to the next person (even if
non-Primary), you can open the Picklist and select that person.
Hope this helps -
