Hi, all:
I would advise in the STRONGEST possible terms that the SUBST command not
be used in a Windows 95 or higher environment, if you should happen to find
it available. Such lower level utilities are not always updated to work in
a stable fashion with the newer functions of the operating system.
Translation: it may work, but would you play Russian Roulette with 4 of the
6 cylinders loaded?
Using DOS itself, or Windows 3.x, SUBST should do just fine and is a stable
and dependable tool.
