I am in the process of merging. Sigh. Another voice of experience
will say that there all kinds of nuances to merging. Before you
delete any tag in the merge screen, better give it a very long
consideration. :-) So -- like Bonita, most times I just merge both
screens and go to the next hit on the list. Now -- wouldn't it be
nice if there were a way to print out a list of all those people you
have merged???? Yep, 20/20 hindsight tells me I shoulda made a
handwritten list but that is what computers are for -- I think. If
this list is possible, could someone tell me how to do it. Now I
have umpty ump people that I have merged -- a good many of them now
sitting there with duplicate tags. I can see that my faded, torn,
and tattered edit flag is going to be once more set to *no* and once
more I will be going through the pick list one by one. I sure do
hope the merge thing gets better someday.

Razzlefrachits.
