Bob,
You may want to look at Fototime (http://www.fototime.com), which provides
some similar capabilities:
- Organizes images files into photo albums. Supports multiple image file
types.
- Burns a CD that can be used to view the albums without installing
software on the target machine.
- Uploads images to free web space to share pictures with relatives.
All that is free. I think the Fototime folks hope that relatives will pay
for some of the other services, such as making prints on paper, t-shirts,
etc.
I have no idea how Fototime compares to FlipAlbum, but it is free, rather
than shareware, and it has worked well for me.
