Thanks but I don't think that technique will work if you are using
the find duplicate people. If you find duplicates and merge them
from this screen, they are listed on the history menu. If you use
Tools> Merge two people, then this person will appear on the View
History.

Same problem -- the only way I can get the last edited date to work
is if I go to Merge two people. When I searched for duplicates and
merged from this screen, the last edited date did not change.
I need to pile up with Lee's lesson on this before I play with this
feature again.
