If, as you say, you just merged both screens, then you have duplicates of
all tags -- in general, one primary and one non-primary.
Stepping through the picklist, as you mentioned, is one way to find the
duplicate name tags.
A List of Names with the focus
Primary Marker is off AND
Tag type label is Name-Var
will narrow down the list. Of course it will also pick up people who
legitimately have two name tags.

The List of Events came be used to search on the other tags for non-primary
events -- again not a perfect solution.
