Just a thought, if you add the info in a TEXT Tag [memo field] as Teresa
suggested, then you can do a search on "Text Tag, Memo Field contains _____"
to find references to a particular person or surname. This would work even
if you do NOT use the witness feature. Might save you some time until you
can get facts entered as you would ideally like them to be.

: Teresa, I have been adding the text files as an exhibit. This does not
get
: all of the children into TMG. A lot of these ancestors had 20- 30 kids
and
: time wise I haven't been able to get the kids into TMG.
:
: One of my duties is to provide lineage files to new members and answer
: research questions from members. This has meant searching the text files
: looking for connections. That is why I just want to get all the names and
: basics into TMG to make the searching easier.
:
: Thanks for your input. A Text tag might be a better way since I could add
: witness's.
