I include them in my main dataset. I have a flag "Connected" which is normally
set to Yes, but for these "strays" I set it to No. I set them to a distinctive
Accent color so they show clearly on the Picklist. If I want to create reports
for them I can either use the Picklist and accent colors to find them and set up
the reports manually, or use a filter along the lines of Connected=N and father
ID#=0 and mother ID#=0 (for a descendant report).
