I am trying to change the tag type definition for Birth by adding a
godparent role. I have a number of German birth's where the godparent
is named in the birth record. I have added the godparent role and wrote
a template which reads: [RP:godparent] became [RF:Child]'s godparent at
[RF:Child]'s birth <[D]> <[L]>. <[M2].>

My problem is that the resulting sentence reads as follows: They became
Maria's godparent at Maria's birth on 22 Jul 1780 at Jechtingen, Baden,
Germany.

How can I get rid of "They" and have it print as "He or She" (as
appropriate)?
How can I have the first "Maria" show Maria's full name, Maria Anna
Kromer?

I first thought "They" printed because I didn't pick a sex for the
godparent, but I did pick female.

Any help would be appreciated.
