Good Morning! I've found that TMG (and other applications) will freeze
based on the hardware acceleration setting of my graphics card. Try
reducing the acceleration.

From the start bar:
Start -> Settings -> Control Panel
Select the Display Icon
Select the "Settings" tab
Select the "Advanced" button
Select the "Performance" tab
Reduce the acceleration on "tic" and see if it helps. If you still have
the problem, reduce acceleration another tic. I had to reduce mine to
about 2/3 acceleration before the problem disappeared.

Note: Window's provides several methods of getting to the hardware
acceleration of your graphics card. The above method works on my card.
You may need to use another method to get to yours.
Best of Luck.

It's not just a 4.0d problem, I've had the same problem since I started
using
TMG 4.0. And it doesn't happen consistently, but usually after the
computer
has been on for a while. It's not a conflict with Outlook, I don't use
Outlook, I run AOL. It could be related to IE since I run it for internet
browsing. Sometimes it happens when I have other applications running
(like
if I'm online and want to check out something in the database), sometimes
there is nothing running.

Mine has never rebooted spontaneously, it simply goes to black screen, with
some gobbledy gook blue text/graphics along the very top, and the computer
completely frozen, can't even CTRL-ALT-DEL out, have to hit the reset
button
on the computer.

Know, you are not the only one that has had this problem.
