Almost every compliant about TMG crashing has been caused by one of
three things:

1. Not enough memory. I have 64 MB and I occasionally get the "This
program has caused an illegal operation" message. I need to get more
memory so I have at least 128 MB. How much memory does Steve have?

2. Too many programs opening on startup which is really related to 1.
Delete those programs you don't often use from Startup.

3. Using Outlook Express, Internet Express, Word or Excel a lot before
opening TMG. These programs do not relinquish memory even after
closing.
