I beg to differ with your here. TMG is capable of running correctly on any
version of Windows from Win 3.x to Win2000 and WinME. I have never had a
problem with it at all under anything from Win 2.x to Win 2000 and doubt if
Win ME would be any different. Have I had system crashes? Yes, but all
have been attributed to other programs -- mostly when TMG wasn't running
anyway.

The reasoning for saying to start TMG first is because some other programs
are NOT programmed properly to release memory when it is no longer being
used as well as having other problems. Microsoft has repeatedly stated to
software developers the specifications for proper program design yet they
often market programs that do not conform to their own specifications. I
am not one to normally "bash" Microsoft, yet this practice is well-known
for _some_ versions of some of their products (usually a later version
corrects the problem).

One other point is that TMG being a database program tends to use a great
deal of the computer's resources (often close to 90 to 95 percent and more)
while other programs often use only between 10 and 50 percent.
