Hello,

I am have been user of TMG version 4.0 a through d for about 2 years
now. In all of that time, I have been running TMG on NT and Windows 2000
and have never had any problems.

The move to Windows XP should, at least in the long term, be a good
thing. Windows XP is a development of Windows NT and Windows 2000 and
should therefore be more stable than Windows 95/98/ME. It also has the
advantage that it does not suffer from the 'lack of Windows resources'
problems that bug many people running TMG on Window 9x/ME. If you don't
believe that this is a problem, just look at the many past threads
talking about TMG problems to which the answer has invariably been 'make
sure that TMG starts first'.

It should also mean - in the long term - that developing software will
become easier since only one family of windows will need to be supported
and therefore tested upon. However, I am sure that Microsoft will find a
way of upsetting the apple cart in this respect with their incessant
version upgrades.
