Like, I expect, many others, I have been 'lurking' on the new group for a
couple of years, making the most of the great free advice and hitting the
delete key to get rid of the occasional whinges.

I have used 2 other genealogy packages in earlier times and settled on TMG
after test driving several others. My scoring - functionality 'great', user
interface ' a little tired' (bit like mine).

Are there things I would like improved? Too right.
Am I in a hurry to get them fixed? Not that big a hurry that I want a
possibly unstable or error filled release.
More communication about what is in the release? Yes please, but I know what
a double edged sword that can be also.

I have been in software development for 35 years and as R&D manager am used
to the pressures from some quarters to expedite the next release - as much
from internal sales and marketing as external clients. Don't succumb Bob,
stick to your priorities. It's better to be remembered for a quality release
which works than a 75% one which takes three .x releases to fix.

Outsourcing and temps? bite your tongue.
