Allen,

I'm still getting at least some people I don't want. A couple of the people
have the following tags:

TagDateSort-Date
(Person 1)
Name-Marr----1920
Marriage----1920

Living flag is set to ?

(Person 2)
Name-Marr--------
Marriage--------
Residence19781978
Living flag is set to ?


---- in the date or sort-date columns above, means nothing has been entered.

Since you haven't told us either what you have tried or what the
characteristics are of the extra people who were included, it's difficult
to determine why you haven't got the right filter. In any case, try
Living Flag Does Not Equal N AND
( Any tag > Event group(s)> Date wide Comes before 1890 OR
Any tag > Address group > Date wide Comes before 1890 )

The parentheses are needed. THe event groups and the address group will,
I believe, pick up all dated tags.

If this filter gets people you don't want, please tell us what their Living
flag equals and what tags and dates they have.
