I guess the unclean just took a night off. Although I did try re-booting my
computer twice, plus exiting and re-entering TMG several times, plus
experimenting with the filters and sorts on the pick list, the names just
would not show up last night.

Tonight when I started TMG, they were magically back.

Computers! Can't live with 'em . . .
