I assume that you mean placing something in the Reference Field. There is
no provision in TMG to automatically place values in this field. So what
you would have to do is enter it manually.
As for memorizing number for my ancestors, I don't bother with more than a
few -- my earliest in any one line and certain others. Then I just go to
the closest to where I want to go and navigate to the specific one that I
want to work with. In any case, I don't bother with Henry (or any others)
except maybe in a report, because that number changes depending on the
person and generation that starts the report.
